The Library will be offering limited computer access beginning Monday, June 1.

Patrons can reserve ONE 45-minute session per week.
Three computers with printing capability are available during these times only,
starting on Monday, June 1:
Monday through Thursday 3:30-6:00 pm
Friday 3:30-5:30 pm

Follow these easy steps to reserve your 45-minute session!

  1. Call 218-879-1531 on the day you would like to use the computer.

  2. Come to the Library at your scheduled time.

  3. Wear a mask while you are in the Library.

Due to ongoing construction and COVID-19 restrictions, the following limitations will apply:

  • Times are on a first-come, first-served basis

  • Masks MUST be worn while in the Library

  • Sessions will be limited to 45 minutes and cannot be extended

  • Library staff cannot provide computer assistance

  • Printing will be available, but staff will not make change

  • Only one person in the study room

  • Computer rooms will be cleaned between patrons

  • Browsing will not be available, but you can request items when you arrive and pick them up when you leave following our curbside pick-up guidelines

  • You must wait in the Library lobby until a staff member brings you inside

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to increase our access and services.

Although the Governor's "Stay at Home Order" has been lifted, the City of Cloquet offices, including the Cloquet Public Library, will remain closed to the public until further notice. All employees will follow the Return to Work Policy.

Beginning Monday, May 18, at 3:00 pm, the Cloquet Public Library will offer curbside pick up. Items can be requested by phone, the library catalog, or email. We will call you when your items are ready to schedule a day and time for pick up. Please allow at least one hour for processing. Materials will be placed in new, individual bags, clearly labeled, and placed on a table in the main entrance foyer. Items can be picked up between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 9:30 am and 5:30 pm on Friday. Checked-out materials can now be returned in the outside book drop. Please see our full Curbside Pick-up Guidelines for information on how to pick up items and our COVID-19 cleaning practices.

Wi-Fi will still be available in the Library parking lot. There is no password required. This is a great time to explore our extensive collection of online services, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, and downloadable magazines. Click on the icon below "Ebooks/Audio/Magazines" or go to the KidZone page for children’s resources.

Library management is determining what services can be offered while the physical location is closed. Patrons are encouraged to check our website and Facebook for updates.

If you have any questions, please email us at or call 218-879-1531 during regular open hours.

We thank our patrons for understanding and for being a part of our library. We will continue to share updates with you through social media, our website, and local papers. We look forward to welcoming back our patrons to the library when we reopen.

Please stay safe and well.
