1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
This is a year-round reading program designed to help caregivers prepare their children for school. Research has shown that children get ready to read years before they begin their formal education. An excellent way to get your child ready to learn is to read to them.
Children who have not yet entered kindergarten can participate in this FREE program.

2024 Kids Summer
Reading Program
June 3rd - August 16th
Join us at the library this summer for loads of fun events and a celebration of reading! This program is for children ages 0-12.
We are offering a variety of indoor and outdoor programs for children and families this summer including a visit from the Lake Superior Zoomobile, gardening camp, and Firetruck Storytime with the Cloquet Fire Department!

Our reading challenge portion of the Summer Reading Program allows kids to earn prizes for reading a certain amount of time, and a chance to win one of many amazing grand prizes!
