2026 Kids Summer Reading Challenge:
June 8th - August 14th 2026
Our Kids Summer Reading Challenge encourages kids ages 0-12 to read over the summer by providing awesome rewards and grand prize drawings! Registration begins June 8th.
Reading with an adult, being read to, and listening to audiobooks all count toward valid reading time for this challenge, in addition to kids reading by themselves.

Summer Reading Challenge Printable Paper Reading Log
This is a year-round reading program designed to help caregivers prepare their children for school. Research has shown that children get ready to read years before they begin their formal education. An excellent way to get your child ready to learn is to read to them.
This program is free and available to children who have not yet entered kindergarten.
